What is a Parent Advisory Council (PAC)?
BuildUP Community School’s Parent Advisory Council is a group of parents from currently enrolled students that provides input on new policies, projects, and materials that impact students and their families. Advisory Council members are particularly focused on how to increase parent and family engagement to ensure student academic success. Members serve as advisors and meet with the School Leadership Team once a month throughout their term.
Who Serves on the PAC?
Volunteer parents of current BuildUP students and selected community organization leaders.
How Are Parents Able to Serve on the PAC?
At least 2 parents from each grade level are asked to serve on the PAC.
